Here’s the latest rankings for MBA programs by Financial Times.

OK, that is barely legible, just click on it to enlarge, I guess. Anyways, these rankings are not quite what I expected, but I guess reputation sometimes precedes reality. Who would have thought Columbia would be ahead of Stanford GSB and Harvard Business School? I’d still rather have a HBS MBA under my belt than a Columbia. MIT seems kind of low as well. But what does it matter, rankings don’t really mean THAT much anyways. If that was the case, how did I end up learning MUCH more about business at a highly ranked Bioengineering school than I did about Bioengineering?

Moral of the story? Don’t let rankings determine where you want to go…. just make sure you get something out of where you go.
