Life in a fire infested SD
Here’s some pictures that we took as we were evacuating SD yesterday. Traffic was insane.. it took us 4.5 hours to get to LA from UCSD.

SUBJECT: UPDATE - CAMPUS CLOSURE - FOR WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 24
Due to the continuing concern of the fires, the UCSD campus has
canceled classes Wednesday, October 24. The air quality continues
to threaten the health of all in this general area. The fires are
still uncontained and many nearby entities will not be operating
tomorrow. Most non-essential personnel are asked not to come to
campus, but we are aware that in some cases there are those that
might be needed. All personnel considering coming onto campus,
please check in with your department first.
Is the Master’s degree worth it?
If you’re going into business from something else, then yeah, you should probably get your MBA. If you’re already in business and trying to get into another part of business, then an MBA may be for you. If you are in business and like the part of business that you are already in, then you probably don’t need an MBA.
