Looks like we’ve stalled. Recession indicates that these figures will be unchanged for awhile.

Quarter Life Crisis For Guys

I’m sure we all know some dude that’s fighting adulthood and responsibility.  I’m sure we all have a little bit of that dude in us.  However, each of us just have our own way of dealing with it.  Some of us will find jobs and pretend to like it. Some of us will choose to not work and pretend to be content with it.  Here’s an article on some observations and theories on why young men delay adulthood.

Business School Culture

Interesting read about one Harvard alumnus’s rather cynical perspective about his experiences at HBS, What They Teach you at HBS: My Two Years Inside the Cauldron of Capitalism by Philip Delves Broughton.  Obviously people get their MBA’s to get ridiculously overpaid jobs.  People who get into the top schools (esp. Harvard) in general will be very competitive and very driven to achieve and make money.  It should be no surprise that that type of environment is not for everyone.  You can’t really blame places like Harvard for creating this type of culture, it already exists.  It’s just a venue for those people who have chosen this path to aggregate and thrive.
